Serving those who serve the children of Tennessee.

ChildcareTennessee utilizes shared services to save Tennessee’s child care providers time and money, with the goal of increasing quality in child care.

Shared services consolidates similar business operations that are used by child care programs. By consolidating those similar operations, ChildcareTennessee is able to help child care providers save time and money so they can reallocate those savings to better support the children they serve.

ChildcareTennessee does this two ways. Through ChildcareMatters, an online platform that powers child care finders and substitute services, and through contracts with the Tennessee Department of Human Services (TDHS), which provides administrative resources, a discount program and grant administration.

Through these products and services, ChildcareTennessee’s goal is to improve the quality, accessibility and sustainability of the services offered to the children and families in Tennessee.
