Each brings a distinct voice and vision to the work, yet together they are part of a broader movement rooted in service, generosity, and shared progress.
Black Philanthropy at CFMT
Community Foundation of Middle Tennessee proudly stewards charitable funds established by Black community leaders to support Black-led organizations, strengthen communities, and create greater opportunity throughout Middle Tennessee.
Celebrated each August, Black Philanthropy Month is a global observance of giving to and by people of African descent. It recognizes Black generosity in all its forms while inviting individuals, families, organizations, and communities to invest in Black-led change.
Beginning with Black Philanthropy Month and continuing through GivingTuesday, CFMT is recognizing Nashville Gamechangers whose leadership has made a lasting difference in our community.
