Episode 3 of #GameChangersTV features Nielah Burnett, who shares her insights on being courted as a donor. Nielah discusses how organizations recognizing her contributions and fostering open conversations about shared goals have led to genuine and impactful philanthropic relationships. When values align, giving becomes a natural extension of those connections.

Nielah Burnett is the owner and founder of InnerG Juice & Yoga, a burgeoning boutique wellness studio based in North Nashville.

She established InnerG as a resource for preventing diet and lifestyle-related illnesses in black communities by providing nutrient-dense cold-pressed juice and empowering yoga that centers the unique experiences in underserved communities, necessitating safe spaces for healing.

As a person who has used yoga and juicing to recover from personal tragedies, manage the daily stressors of a career in technology, and balance her lifestyle as a mompreneur, Nielah believes strongly in the power of representation and advocacy in preventative wellness and is committed to making a difference in the health outcomes for North Nashville.

As an established brick and mortar in North Nashville since 2021, I believe InnerG is in a prime position to facilitate and/or lead change wellness outcomes, by acting our mission in the following ways:

1. Deliver a comprehensive yoga teacher training starting in 2025, fortified with modules that focus on teaching to the lifestyle experiences in black communities. This training will both increase the reach of InnerG Yoga by increasing the fleet of qualified teachers, and bring more informed instructors to meet our community in traditional and non-traditional settings for practicing and applying yoga.

2. Increase awareness of and access to the benefits of juicing by delivering a quarterly cadence of juicing workshops, consultations, cohorts, and customizations that allow individuals to discover how juicing can improve their individual health while connecting them with others at similar points in their respective wellness journeys.

3. Improve accessibility to both juicing and yoga with the launch of a sustainable and AI-enhanced wellness platform designed to help identify lifestyle imbalances and diet deficiencies that can contribute to illness. This platform will be developed iteratively, with end goals to help individuals strategize unique wellness plans to mitigate or manage such issues and administer convenient access to juice plans and/or yoga routines.

The greatness of a community is most accurately measured by the compassionate actions of its members.
