As Program and Operations Manager at Nashville Early Education Coalition, Jen Fisher helps support initiatives focused on strengthening early childhood education and expanding access to high-quality, affordable childcare for families across the region. Her role brings together operations, program management, and community engagement as she oversees day-to-day functions, coordinates partnerships, and leads communications and outreach efforts tied to this work.

“What inspires me most is how personal this work feels,” says Jen. “As a mom, I understand how critical access to quality childcare is for families. Throughout my career in education and the nonprofit sector, I’ve seen firsthand how the right systems and support can change outcomes for children and communities.”

Jen especially enjoys the balance of operational leadership and relationship-building that comes with her role, along with the opportunity to help shape work that can create lasting impact for Nashville families and young children.

Outside of work, Jen lives in Franklin with her husband, Charles, their sons Raleigh and Edison, and their rescue pup, Rosie. A proud sports mom, she is also an enthusiastic plant collector whose greenery fills nearly every corner of her home. She enjoys hand embroidering tea towels, listening to audiobooks, and planning trips for family and friends as the group’s unofficial travel coordinator.

The greatness of a community is most accurately measured by the compassionate actions of its members.
