The I Know A Woman Music and Wellness Fund is dedicated to opening doors for female creatives, creating community and raising vital funds for charities which support music professionals and their personal wellbeing. The I Know A Woman is a music collective with a global initiative.
A special note from the founders of I Know A Woman, Twinnie Lee Moore and Summer Overstreet: As songwriters and artists, we have seen first-hand an industry that treats its creators like numbers instead of people. Women especially have been encouraged to feel competitive rather than collaborative. Our ethos believes that there is enough room for everyone, and that we can all have a helping hand in creating fruitful and meaningful opportunities for one another. We are focused on standardizing therapy within label and publishing deals and creating access to human resources for music makers. I Know A Woman is a home for all music makers and professionals. Our goal is to create a global network of like-minded women and men to offer an empowering space to be seen, heard and supported. We hope our ethos extends beyond the music and entertainment industry.
