Grayson Cavaliere joins the Marketing & Communications team as CFMT’s first Communications Manager, a newly created role focused on telling CFMT’s story and strengthening our impact across Middle Tennessee. He collaborates across teams to craft strategic content for fundholders, donors, and professional advisors, helps elevate local journalism through Press Forward Middle Tennessee, and produces storytelling that reflects the depth and diversity of our work.

Grayson brings a dynamic background shaped by public education, military communications, and community storytelling. A former writing instructor turned communications specialist, he has a passion for making complex information accessible and meaningful. Most recently, Grayson served as a Public Affairs Specialist in the Army National Guard, where he developed multimedia campaigns and authored policy to support statewide communications efforts. Making a difference in our community drew Grayson to CFMT.

“I love knowing that I will be able to work where making a difference is part of a core mission — a place where curiosity is rewarded, and the goal is to be impactful in our community,” says Grayson.

Outside of work, Grayson enjoys farming, raising animals, weightlifting, cheering on hockey, and discovering new local restaurants.
