A bustling hub for Middle Tennessee’s greatest resource, its people

The Jane and Richard Eskind and Family Building is the dynamic home of the Community Foundation of Middle Tennessee (CFMT). We’re beyond excited to invite 501(c)(3) organizations for complimentary meeting space during our regular hours, subject to approval and availability. Eligible groups, operating within the 43-county region served by CFMT and having a current Giving Matters profile, as well as other nonprofit, governmental, or civic organizations, are welcome.

Recognizing challenges in accessing suitable space, our aim is to provide an affordable and accessible option for activities that further your organization’s mission or contribute to community connection and education. Whether it’s staff trainings, community gatherings, or board meetings, we look forward to hosting organizations dedicated to making a positive impact.

Please note that your assigned meeting rooms only come with tables, chairs and technology as highlighted below in the room information.

Before submitting a request, please review the criteria and guidelines here:

Event Hours:

CFMT Business hours are Monday–Friday from 8:30AM to 4:30PM.

Any event starting or extending past 5:00PM or occurring on Saturday will require a $50/hour fee (please note: the building is closed on Sundays). Any additional event staffing, including registration staff, must be provided by the hosting organization.

Rooms Available for Reservation


Frist Foundation Room

Capacity: The room can accommodate up to 24 individuals boardroom style and 30-60 individuals at pod-style tables (depending on furniture availability).

Technology and facilitation space: The room is equipped with a large screen and audio capabilities. There is space for flip charts and or hanging of large post-it notes (supplies not included).



Truist Conference Room

Capacity: The room can comfortably welcome up to 12 individuals in a conference table setting.

Technology and facilitation space: The room is equipped with a large screen and white board.



Francis Guess Building Bridges & Education Training Room

Capacity: The room can accommodate up to 20 individuals.

Technology and facilitation space: The room is equipped with a large screen and audio capabilities. There is space for flip charts and or hanging of large post-it notes (supplies not included).


This space is not available for:

  • Events with activities or content related to 501(c)(4) organizations, direct or grassroots lobbying, political campaigns, or electoral or partisan themes;
  • Commercial events with profit-making activities;
  • Fundraising;
  • Non-charitable or private events, such as weddings, birthday parties, or fashion shows.
