Nicole Rose is a Community Impact Program Officer at the Community Foundation of Middle Tennessee, where she works alongside nonprofit leaders, community partners, and colleagues to strengthen communities across the region. She helps shape grantmaking strategies, develops learning and engagement opportunities for nonprofit leaders, and supports efforts to align philanthropic resources with community needs.
Drawing on more than a decade of experience in the nonprofit sector, Nicole brings perspectives from both direct service and philanthropy. She is particularly drawn to the relationships, systems, and community insights that drive meaningful change. Through nonprofit partnerships, convenings, and data-informed learning, she works to better understand what communities need and to connect people, ideas, and resources in ways that make a real difference in Middle Tennessee.
“Some of the most meaningful lessons of my career have come from nonprofit leaders,” says Nicole. “Every day, I have the opportunity to learn from people who are deeply committed to their communities and willing to tackle complex challenges. That curiosity and shared learning are what make this work so meaningful to me.”
Nicole grew up in Vero Beach, Florida, and holds a Bachelor of Science in Human Services with a concentration in Nonprofit Administration from Kennesaw State University and a Master of Public Service Management from Cumberland University. Outside of work, she enjoys volunteering with local nonprofits and exploring state and national parks with her family.
