Emily oversees CFMT’s brand identity, ensuring strategic and high-quality audience experiences across digital and physical platforms. Reporting to the VP of Communications, she develops brand strategies, mentors creative teams, and manages the production of compelling visuals and content. She aligns creative efforts with organizational goals, oversees cross-departmental projects, and ensures consistency across all communications. Through thoughtful design and storytelling, she amplifies CFMT’s mission, builds meaningful connections with the community, and enhances the foundation’s impact.
Prior to joining CFMT, Emily served as a senior graphic designer and the creative manager for The Country Music Hall of Fame and Museum. Emily finds endless inspiration in learning about and engaging with our community, fueling her dedication to her work.
“I have worked in the design field for 20 years in Nashville, and the last decade spent at CFMT has given me a chance to continuously learn about the fantastic work being done in our community and use my creative experience to support our work,” says Emily. “Taking part in an organization that works alongside so many incredible donor and nonprofit partners who are making a real difference is hard to beat when it comes to work that fills my cup.”
Emily always has some project going, whether working on something creative with her son or taking photographs with her old cameras. She is currently exploring the world of children’s books by writing her own and taking classes to learn about publishing! Emily loves to cook and host parties for friends, and will never pass up a chance to arrange flowers to take to someone she loves. But her favorite way to spend my time is with her husband and son—at the baseball field, on neighborhood walks, or exploring Nashville on the weekends.
