CFMT’s Community Impact Grantmaking

Make More Possible Together: CFMT’s Community Impact Grantmaking

When you give through the Community Foundation, you join a powerful network of donors invested in making a difference in our community.  You also gain access to a dedicated team with deep local community knowledge that can connect you with high-performing nonprofits that are making a difference in causes we all care deeply about.

With this gathering, we look forward to introducing you to the Community Impact Grantmaking Program that has been reimagined during the past few years. During this peer learning session, you can expect to connect with fellow donors and learn more about:

  • The critical role that donor gifts have played in the growing resources available for CFMT grant programs and support of the nonprofit community
  • The distinction between our Community Impact and Special Interest grantmaking programs
  • The framework and tools we use to identify nonprofit partners in our three priority areas of Arts & Culture, Positive Mental Health, and Child and Youth Development
  • The ‘Beyond the Check’ resources we have added to support our grantee partners, including a year-long Communities of Practice
