Established in 2000

The Stewart family was composed of four unique individuals who shared only a few years together as a nuclear family. Despite the 13-year age difference between the two sons and Loura and William Stewart’s divorce after 28 years of marriage, Phillip and Billy were raised with a strong sense of family roots and an interest in family history. To celebrate the importance of family ties, Phillip Stewart created this Fund to honor the memory of his mother, father and brother. The Fund will permanently endow support for non-traditional families, including grandparents who raise grandchildren, children facing the divorce of their parents, single parents, and families who do not fit traditional stereotypes.
