Jelly Roll’s journey shows how sharing your story with heart and purpose makes more possible.

Jelly Roll is a Middle Tennessee native who has set the world on fire with his unique art and endless heart. Known for his raw, genre-blending music, the GRAMMY-nominated, multi-platinum artist has captivated audiences with his relatable storytelling about overcoming personal struggles, mental health, and hope. Jelly Roll’s impact goes far beyond music, he is using his success to make a lasting difference in the lives of those who need it most.

In 2024, Jelly Roll opened The Buddy DeFord Charitable Fund at CFMT to honor his late father, Buddy, and to support nonprofits addressing some of the most pressing issues facing our communities.

Jelly Roll’s journey is a living example that, no matter where you start, your story can ignite a powerful movement of compassion and transformation.

Motivated by his own experiences, Jelly Roll is dedicated to helping local and national organizations working in prison ministry, homelessness, food insecurity, and the mental health crisis. Through his fund, he has made numerous local grants to organizations like the Nashville Rescue Mission, Men of Valor, and Beat of Life.

Jelly Roll’s commitment to service is also evident in his actions on tour. He’s visited prisons, homeless shelters, food banks, and schools affected by gun violence, spreading messages of encouragement and healing.

By using his platform to spread inspiration, he proves that your past doesn’t define you. It’s the actions you take and the change you create that make all the difference.
