Honoring CFMT’s 2025 Gamechangers
In August, we proudly celebrated our Class of 2025 Gamechangers, remarkable leaders who embody generosity, vision, and a deep commitment to building stronger, more equitable communities.
The celebration brought together leaders from across Davidson, Wilson, Rutherford, Sumner, and Dickson counties, including nonprofit partners, local business leaders, and representatives from three local foundations. The evening was both a tribute and a working session, a chance to honor our Gamechangers while also shaping the future of Black philanthropy in Middle Tennessee.
Crafting a Foundation for Success
- Hosting curated, intergenerational conversations about legacy giving
- Exploring place-based, issue-specific giving models (like a Davidson County health equity fund)
- Launching a collective giving circle to foster education and awareness
$230,000+ Contributed to Black-led CFMT Funds
Since the launch of our Black Philanthropy Month celebrations, $234,566.98 has been contributed to Black-led CFMT funds, a powerful reminder of what happens when we come together to give boldly and intentionally.

Building on the Momentum
Following the event, participants were invited to reflect on their own philanthropic journeys, guided by a resource worksheet and invitations to meet one-on-one with our Philanthropic Services team.
This is just the beginning. With follow-up events already planned, we look forward to continuing the conversations sparked that night and carrying forward the legacy of our 2025 Gamechangers.
