Christina Ruth Slay serves as the Hospitality & Events Manager at the Community Foundation of Middle Tennessee (CFMT), where she oversees the seamless coordination of meetings, events, and hospitality services for the local organizations and community partners who utilize the Jane and Richard Eskind and Family Building at CFMT.
As the first point of contact for many fundholders and nonprofit partners, Christina Ruth is known for her poise, professionalism, and natural warmth. She manages CFMT’s meeting room calendar and booking process, welcoming more than 1,000 attendees from visiting organizations each month, while collaborating with lead contacts from external organizations on their unique event logistics, guiding front-of-house policy creation and implementation, and providing thoughtful administrative support across departments.
With more than a decade of experience in front-of-house and client-facing roles across Nashville including positions at Watkins College of Art, Design, and Film, CapStar Bank’s Corporate Headquarters, Jaguar Land Rover Nashville, and Hillwood Country Club, Christina Ruth has consistently been the first and lasting impression of the organizations she represents. Her passion for hospitality, her Nashville roots, and her ability to genuinely connect with people make her a valuable part of CFMT’s philanthropic mission.
Outside of work, Christina Ruth enjoys spending intentional time with her large family and loved ones, taking peaceful walks on Middle Tennessee’s outdoor trails, and being inspired by thought-provoking productions from Shondaland and Monkeypaw Productions.
