The CoreCivic Scholarship application is open annually from December 1st to February 1st.
Eligibility: The selection process will balance merit and financial need with an emphasis on financial need. A history of extra-curricular and civic participation will be considered. Preference will be given to CoreCivic employees with a record of prior military service. Recipients must attend an accredited junior college, college, or university. Students who receive a CoreCivic Scholarship may reapply for successive years of support, but such support shall in no way be guaranteed. To be considered, students who are reapplying must have a GPA of no less than 3.0. Students pursuing an undergraduate degree may receive no more than four annual scholarships. To be eligible, applicants must be employees who have been employed full-time at CoreCivc for no less than two years.
