The Tomorrow Fund invites you to the 5th Annual RED, WHITE and BREW - this mid-summer fest with local brews, tasty food, music AND a few games, too, will really have you celebrating America and freedom. This event is our largest and most important fundraiser, and we invite you to join us in feeling good about a great time! This year’s event will take place at Tennessee Brew Works, one of Nashville’s best breweries serving some of the tastiest beers in town. Admission includes two drink tickets, a tour of the brewery, sliders, snacks, games, darts and great patio space to bask in the summer sun. Wine will also be available, and a few of Nashville's best restaurants will be serving up some samples to satisfy your cravings! Proceeds from the event support The Tomorrow Fund, which builds community awareness and responsibility in Middle Tennessee young professionals by establishing a pattern of community service and charitable giving. The Acorn Society of The Community Foundation of Middle Tennessee will host its first quarterly meeting featuring special guest speakers TBA on Tuesday, August 22. Attendees will learn about philanthropy, how to give back to the community and how to be engaged with making a difference in Middle Tennessee. The Acorn Society’s mission is to engage, educate and empower the next generation of philanthropist. It is a component fund of The Community Foundation of Middle Tennessee dedicated to the idea that it does not take great wealth to meaningfully and beneficially impact its community. This member-based fund holds quarterly meetings that feature a social and educational component around certain issue areas of philanthropy. The goal is to allow members to guide their own philanthropy - based upon their interests - and give exposure to smaller, local nonprofits where members’ efforts can make the most impact. [less-]
