Join communities across the country in a national day of giving through Donor Advised Funds.
What is DAF Day?
DAF Day is a national day of action to highlight the power of Donor Advised Funds (DAFs) to inspire generosity and strengthen nonprofits.
On October 9, donors, nonprofits and DAF Providers nationwide will come together to celebrate how DAFs expand philanthropy by igniting a record-breaking day of DAF-giving.

Are you a current DAF Fundholder?
While DAFs are already a powerful tool for philanthropy, they’re even stronger when used together. Share your DAF Day giving with friends and family, and help inspire generosity in our community.
CFMT believes in the power of collective generosity. If you’d like to discuss your DAF Day giving plan with our team, we’re here to support you and share our expertise on the causes you’re most passionate about.

What is a DAF?
A Donor Advised Fund (DAF) is a simple, tax-efficient way to maximize your support of the causes you care about most.
With a DAF, you can:
- Make a tax-deductible contribution now of cash, stock or other appreciate assets.
- Grow your giving – contributions are invested and grow tax-free over time while they’re in the account.
- Do all of your giving from one account, whenever you’re inspired to give.
At CFMT, we offer DAFs as a powerful tool to help donors deepen their impact and get more connected to the community.
Why do donors choose a DAF?
- It makes giving easier – you have all of your charitable dollars in one place.
- It makes giving more strategic – you can plan ahead while still supporting urgent needs.
- It makes giving more impactful – your invested dollars can grow, creating even more resources for the future.
At its core, a DAF gives you the tools to be a smarter, more intentional philanthropist – with the flexibility to give when inspiration strikes or when opportunities arise.
