The Angel Fund
Through the Angel Fund of The Community Foundation of Middle Tennessee, a little goes a long way. One gift – big or small – can be transformative. “I know my gift to the Angel Fund goes directly to helping people over a rough patch in life – whether it’s a single mom needing bus passes for work or a senior on a fixed income needing new eyeglasses,” said donor Nina Sivek. Through the generosity of donors, The Angel Fund has been able to invest in Middle Tennesseans through grants to nonprofits doing vital work. A Cause for Celebration Fund
Every child deserves to feel special at least one day a year. Through A Cause for Celebration Fund of The Community Foundation of Middle Tennessee, you can support birthday parties for kids living in tough situations, like those at domestic violence shelters. Without A Cause for Celebration, a birthday party wouldn’t otherwise be possible for these kids. Jim and Mary Taulman are proud grandparents. To help teach their three grandboys about values they hold dear and the need to give back, The Community Foundation of Middle Tennessee helped them set up charitable funds in their grandchildren’s names. Jim and Mary created Funds within The Community Foundation specifically to pass on the responsibility of giving to the next generation, to better the lives of Middle Tennesseans beyond their own lifetimes and to endow support for two nonprofits in which they believe.
