Pat builds strong relationships with Affiliate Fund Advisory Boards, grantees, and community partners across CFMT’s service area, serving as the primary point of contact for regional initiatives and disaster response efforts. He oversees strategic planning with affiliates, supports grant processes, coordinates networking and training opportunities, and ensures compliance with foundation policies. In disaster situations, he manages preparedness, response, and recovery efforts, collaborating with local leaders and stakeholders to address community needs efficiently. Through clear communication and strategic leadership, he enhances regional partnerships and strengthens community resilience.
Before joining CFMT, Pat worked on the ChildcareTennessee initiative, supporting 2,500 childcare centers statewide. Pat spent 20 years of work in education, serving as Athletic Director for Cumberland University and Father Ryan High School. He also led Sherry’s Run, a nonprofit cancer ministry, as Executive Director. Pat holds a Master’s Degree in Education from Cumberland University. As CFMT’s lead project manager for “CFMT Moves,” he supervised the construction and relocation of CFMT’s new 18,000 sq. ft. office. Recently elected to the Tennessee VOAD Executive Committee, Pat also coordinates CFMT’s regional disaster response. For Pat, collaborating with the community is the most important aspect of his work.

Outside of CFMT, Pat enjoys spending time with his wife, Sarah, son Will and Rufus their English bulldog. An avid outdoorsman focusing on land management and wildlife conservation. He is an OG Titans Season Ticket holder, and coaches baseball and basketball.
