Katie Marchetti, our Vice President of Philanthropic Services, is at the forefront of CFMT’s mission to build and strengthen community relationships. She leads initiatives to grow funds, connect donors with impactful opportunities, and collaborate with financial advisors. Katie’s leadership shapes our strategic direction, amplifying CFMT’s visibility and impact in the philanthropic community.

Katie  is a known and respected leader, serving as the Co-Founder and Executive Board Member of Voices for Safer Tennessee, alongside her board membership at Fisk University. With over two decades of consultancy experience, Katie has honed her skills in various executive roles, including VP of Operations and Community, Managing Director, and more.

A desire to help grow and guide strategic philanthropy with our Community’s growth drew Katie to CFMT.

“CFMT has grown into a formidable entity that has helped so many people in my hometown (Nashville) and the broader Middle Tennessee area,” says Katie. “There is also previously untapped donors and sectors of focus for grants that I want to help explore and grow. There is so much opportunity, but there is urgency. Nashville is growing incredibly quickly, and we do not want to become a tale of two cities– the “‘have'” and the “‘have nots.'”

When she is not at work, Katie enjoys traveling, reading, exercising in every form, hosting very long dinner parties to undo all of the exercise, snuggling with and staring at her children (and marveling as they grow into full-formed humans.)

The greatness of a community is most accurately measured by the compassionate actions of its members.
