Katherine is our Communications intern at CFMT. She supports CFMT’s communication work by helping the Marketing and Communications team with social media engagement, press releases, stories, newsletters, research, and website updates. She will also help organize and participate in community events to help us further cultivate relationships. Additionally, she participates in our marketing efforts through work on CFMT materials, integrated marketing campaigns, and other communications needs.

Katherine is a Fast Track MBA student at Lipscomb University with a strong foundation in Public Relations, earned from Southern Methodist University. Currently a co-owner of Route 30A in Santa Rosa Beach, FL, Katherine has demonstrated her leadership skills by managing a team, coordinating with design firms, and overseeing store operations. Her experience includes developing social media content for The 30A Company and leading PR campaigns for high-profile clients at Monica & Morgan by Natalie Mills. Katherine’s desire to work in a creative field led her to CFMT.


“I am passionate about contributing to environments that are open-minded and people-focused, especially when working towards a greater cause,” says Katherine. “My desire to work in a creative field drew me to marketing, making CFMT the perfect place for me to make a meaningful impact.”


In her free time, Katherine enjoys reading and writing, trying new restaurants, traveling and even singing a little bit on the side.
