As an organization striving to fight hunger among today’s youth, the New Direction CDC established the Fun Care Bag program. This program provides food to families in the Rutherford County School system and is designed to promote an engaging atmosphere in the home. Families are not just provided with a meal, but there is also a special game or toy included in the bag that encourages families to come together for “family time” and experience a moment of fun, excitement and joy.
We expressed gratitude and expressions of love for the donation. Fighting hunger is what we do and we are honored to continue providing FunCare bags to families in need.
