The Friends of Tennessee School for the Blind Legacy Fund will be tasked with continuing the objectives of Friends of Tennessee School for the Blind, Inc., by providing funding to enhance the educational, vocational, physical, recreational, and social development of students attending the Tennessee School for the Blind.
The Friends of Tennessee School for the Blind established an agency endowment fund in 2011. When its Board began considering the closure of the organization that operated for more than two decades in support of students at The Tennessee School for the Blind, they turned to The Community Foundation to help carry on its legacy.
