Shared Services

ChildcareTennessee Shared Services seeks to partner child care agency owners and directors with local, regional and national vendors offering products and services to support high quality care and development of children of Tennessee. Shared Services focuses on finding meaningful cost savings for products and services regularly used by child care agencies.


Support and Enhancement Grants

The Tennessee Department of Human Services (TDHS), in partnership with The Community Foundation of Middle Tennessee (CFMT), is accepting applications for grants to increase capacity, strengthen quality, and/or promote compliance with licensing standards that support improved child outcomes in early childhood education and enhance child care agency programs. Any child care agency licensed by TDHS may apply for a Child Care Support and Enhancement Grant in any amount up to $4,000.00.

Agencies located in economically distressed counties identified in Governor Lee’s Executive Order No. 1 may apply for a grant up to $5,000.00 (Bledsoe, Clay, Cocke, Fentress, Grundy, Hancock, Hardeman, Jackson, Lake, Lauderdale, McNairy, Morgan, Perry, Scott, or Van Buren).
