Amanda Adorno

Amanda is the Employee Care Associate. She helps with the case management of funds and specializing in brining a new level of support for Spanish-speaking applicants seeking help through our many employer-sponsored emergency assistance programs.

Amanda spent time in Raleigh, North Carolina working for the Department of Health and Human Services as an accountant in reconciliation, before moving back to her native country Puerto Rico to work for UnitedHealthcare as an account manager for Optune.

The opportunity to connect people to the assistance they need drew Amanda to work at The Foundation.

“I want a job where I can not only earn a living, but also feel fulfilled as well,” says Amanda. “I like working in service and helping people from the states as well as from Puerto Rico. We [Puerto Rico] are in a compromised position in terms of earthquakes and hurricanes, so it feels good being able to help people back home.”

Amanda loves art, music and eating and she has already found places such as the Frist Art Museum and Ryman Auditorium where she enjoys spending her free time.
