Arts Build Communities
The Arts Build Communities (ABC) program is a matching grant program funded by the Tennessee General Assembly and administered in cooperation with the Tennessee Arts Commission and The Community Foundation of Middle Tennessee. ABC grants provide funds for a variety of arts projects with grants ranging from $500 to $2,000 in matching dollars. Nonprofit 501(c)(3) tax-exempt organizations, schools, libraries and governmental entities are eligible to apply.
ABC applications must contain a clear, single-project focus. Requested grant funds must be matched dollar-for-dollar. Only one grant application per organization may be submitted for the program in a funding year.
Organizations in the following counties are encouraged to apply: Bedford, Cannon, Cheatham, Clay, Coffee, Cumberland, DeKalb, Fentress, Franklin, Giles, Hickman, Jackson, Lawrence, Lewis, Lincoln, Macon, Marshall, Maury, Moore, Overton, Perry, Pickett, Putnam, Robertson, Rutherford, Smith, Sumner, Trousdale, Van Buren, Warren, Wayne, White, Williamson, and Wilson.
The application deadline is AUGUST 31, 2012 AT 4:30 P.M. Arts Build Communities projects should take place between October 15, 2012, and June 15, 2013.
