“Love Everybody” is the motto of Big Kenny Alphin. It’s simple mission is “Highlight the good, inspire greatness, and encourage mutual responsibility for the betterment of humankind.” -- Love Everybody
The Love Everybody Fund was established by Kenny Alphin, multi genre creative and solo recording artist, founder of the band luvjOi and known as half of the country music duo Big and Rich.
The Fund supports Kenny Alphin’s humanitarian efforts, with others to inspire, develop and complete focused projects. Love Everybody has helped complete the “Kunyuk School For Girls” in Akon Sudan and has on multiple occasions delivered much needed life saving emergency Humanitarian supplies to Sudanese villages. A second airlift was completed late Spring 2009 to provide additional medical and educational supplies to the area and to dedicate and turn over to the community the school which now educates over 550 girls, giving them their first chance ever at education in that country.
Big Kenny, having personally witnessed the destruction of much of our beloved Appalachia environment and it’s effect on clean drinking water for it’s communities, Love Everybody has established, The ASPIRE Appalachia Program , a scholarship to Promote the Integration of Research and Environmental Education in Appalachia. Working with Dr. Bill Frist’s “Hope Through Healing Hands” and with Dean Randy Wykoff at ETSU, we’ll select a student in a “Storytelling” program and another in an “Environmental Health” program. The First students will be placed spring of 2010 to do prevention awareness-raising/education for public health specifically at the interface of environment/health through out these much needing areas of our Appalachia.
Having just returned from the disaster in Haiti where Big Kenny’s team provided Search and Rescue, logistics and emergency food and medical assistance, Big Kenny plans to return to this neighboring country and continue to use music to provide healing from this traumatic experience.
Big Kenny and the Love Everybody Fund additionally plan to continue the work of his Mentor Walt Ratterman of SunEPI, to build and construct the Haitian “Children’s Creative Learning and Renewable Resource Institute” as a model for educational endeavors in the country and beyond. The desire of the Institute will be fully sustainable creation and education that takes NO resource and only gives to the community through the sustainable proliferation of creativity and education.
This fund does not solicit for contributions but was established only to steward the contributions of those seeking to help in these ongoing and specific endeavors where there is the greatest need.
