We are delighted that each of them has joined in these efforts to connect generosity with need.”
The Women’s Fund was established in 1994 to increase support for programs serving women and girls in Middle Tennessee. It provides funding for programs that encourage economic self-sufficiency, crime and violence prevention, and health and physical well-being. The fund was also developed to raise women’s awareness of their own philanthropic potential, and to increase and perpetuate financial support for the programs it helps to fund.
The Community Foundation of Middle Tennessee oversees more than 450 charitable funds. In the past twelve years, The Foundation has distributed $195 million to community programs and institutions. Currently, The Foundation manages endowment, unrestricted and memorial funds totaling $327 million. It is located at 3833 Cleghorn Avenue, Nashville, Tennessee 37215.
