The Community Foundation of Middle Tennessee Announces Three New Staff Members

Nashville, Tennessee – The Community Foundation of Middle Tennessee, a charitable organization benefiting nonprofits serving those in need in Middle Tennessee and portions of Kentucky, announces the addition of three staff people. Amy McDaniel, Landon Crutcher and Deborah McClellan will serve as GivingMatters.com coach, design associate, and receptionist, respectively.

“We welcome the broad range of talent and energy these new staff bring to The Community Foundation of Middle Tennessee,” said Ellen Lehman, president of The Community Foundation. “With their contributions, we can continue to connect generosity with need and work with our donors and nonprofit partners in new and better ways. We welcome them to our team.”

McDaniel will work to support and develop The Foundation’s online philanthropy resource, GivingMatters.com, through relationships with nonprofits. Previously, McDaniel gained nonprofit experience from her work with the Field Foundation of Illinois and volunteer efforts with The United Way in Chicago. She received her bachelor’s degree from Middle Tennessee State University and a master's degree in social work from the Jane Addams School of Social Work at the University of Illinois.

Crutcher, as design associate, is responsible for the design, creation and management of materials and creative projects for The Community Foundation of Middle Tennessee. Crutcher has more than five years of graphic design experience, working with staffing agencies, design and marketing firms, book publishers, and independently as a freelance designer. He previously worked for Ideals Publications and Breakstation Creative and studied visual communications and graphic design at Nashville State Technical Institute.

McClellan manages the flow of information and daily communication as The Foundation’s receptionist. MClellan comes to The Foundation from New York, where she served as receptionist and accounting clerk for law firm Cahill Gordon & Reindel.

The Community Foundation of Middle Tennessee oversees more than 630 charitable funds. In the past sixteen years, The Community Foundation has distributed $337 million to community programs and institutions. Currently, The Community Foundation manages endowment, unrestricted and memorial funds totaling $430 million. It is located at 3833 Cleghorn Avenue, # 400, Nashville, Tennessee 37215.
