The Community Foundation of Middle Tennessee Seeks Scholarship Applicants
Application Deadline March 16
Nashville, Tenn. – The Community Foundation of Middle Tennessee, a charitable organization benefiting nonprofits in 40 Middle Tennessee counties, announces its annual scholarship application process and invites students to apply by March 16, 2009. The Foundation administers more than 60 scholarships available for students interested in many areas of study and from various backgrounds and communities.
“The Community Foundation has been able to help thousands of people attend schools they might have been unable to afford, by connecting them with the generosity of others. This year, we look forward to helping hundreds more improve their futures and the futures of their families,” said Ellen Lehman, president of The Community Foundation of Middle Tennessee. “Whether you are entering fields ranging from criminal justice or music composition to horticulture or religious service, or graduating from a particular high school or a resident of a specific county, we hope we can help.”
Scholarships administered by The Foundation offer opportunities ranging from post-secondary education to musical instruction and beyond, and are available to high school and college students, among others.
