The Community Foundation of Middle Tennessee Hires New Communications Associate

Nashville, TN – The Community Foundation of Middle Tennessee, a charitable organization that benefits nonprofits serving those in need in Middle Tennessee and portions of Kentucky, today announced Kallie Bienvenu as the organization’s new communications associate. In this position, she will share The Foundation’s story with Middle Tennessee residents by assisting with public relations and marketing programs.

“We are delighted to be able to count on Kallie’s contributions as we continue to invite Middle Tennesseans to invest in our community’s future,“ said Ellen Lehman, president of The Community Foundation. “Her knowledge and enthusiasm will be great assets as we share The Foundation’s possibilities with the media and people of Middle Tennessee.”

Bienvenu, a Brentwood native, worked for The Community Foundation as a communications intern in 2005 and 2006. She also draws experience from prior public relations internships with two Nashville firms, Seigenthaler Public Relations and Katcher Vaughn & Bailey Public Relations. She will graduate in May 2007 with an undergraduate degree in public relations from Belmont University.

While at Belmont, Bienvenu served as the vice president of the Public Relations Student Society of America and received the honor of Public Relations Practitioner of the Year from the university.  She is also the recipient of the 2007 Public Relations Graduate of the Year award, given to the graduating student who demonstrates the most promise in terms of scholarship, leadership, and professionalism.
