The Community Foundation of Middle Tennessee’s Discretionary Grant Application Now Available
Annual Grant Deadline in AugustNashville, TN – The Community Foundation of Middle Tennessee has announced its annual call for discretionary grant applications. Nonprofit organizations serving to improve the well-being of residents of the Middle Tennessee area* are eligible and encouraged to apply.
Whether it’s a mentor program for at-risk youth or a river clean-up group, The Community Foundation of Middle Tennessee recognizes and supports worthynonprofit organizationsacross Middle Tennessee through their annual grant-making process. Grant applications are available online at www.cfmt.org. The deadline is August 1 at 4:30 p.m.
"Our grant-making process is a vital part of our work to connect generosity with need,” said Ellen Lehman, president of The Community Foundation of Middle Tennessee. “Through the generous support of our donors, we are able to fund many unique and innovative nonprofit programs and services.”
All nonprofits applying for discretionary grants must be profiled on www.givingmatters.com. Grants will be awarded, based upon exhibited need, to nonprofit organizations serving a wide range of causes, including: education, health, social services, and general community programs.The Foundation’s discretionary grant recipients will be announced in late fall 2008.
