The Cheatham County Community Foundation Hosts
Pancake Breakfast Featuring the Easter Bunny
Event Supports Foundation’s Grantmaking Capacity
Cheatham County, Tenn. – The Cheatham County Community Foundation, an affiliate fund of The Community Foundation of Middle Tennessee, will host a Pancake Breakfast featuring the Easter Bunny on March 20, 2010, from 7:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. at The Senior Center in Ashland City. The event will benefit The Cheatham County Community Foundation, which has awarded nearly $7,000 to nonprofit agencies working to improve the lives of Cheatham County residents.
In addition to the breakfast, guests can enter the Pancake Eating Contest (entry fee is $25.00) and purchase a photo of their child or grandchild with the Easter Bunny ($5.00). Tickets for the event are $5 in advance and $6 at the door, and proceeds will support The Foundation’s grantmaking to local nonprofits.
"The Pancake Breakfast will be a morning full of community spirit and fun, and will allow us to continue to help our Cheatham County neighbors in need,” said Valerie Dreier, board chair of The Cheatham County Community Foundation.

Tickets are available for purchase at all branches of Community Bank and Trust and from the following Foundation Members: Valerie Dreier, Betty Broz, Elke McLeroy, John Mayfield, Martha Kirby, Natalie Hudgens, Tony Young and Nancy Rucker.
In the past, The Cheatham County Community Foundation has made grants to Cheatham County nonprofits including the Ark Community Resource and Assistance Center, the Boy Scouts and the Cheatham County Historical and Genealogical Association. These grants have directly impacted the lives of Cheatham County residents through services such as meal delivery to seniors, utility bill assistance to those in need, resources for museums, and animal spay and neuter services.
