OutCentral and NowPlayingNashville.com Partner to Expand Services for GLBT Community

Collaboration to provide comprehensive arts and entertainment information for GLBT community

Nashville, Tenn. NowPlayingNashville.com, an initiative of The Community Foundation of Middle Tennessee showcasing the depth and breadth of entertainment options in Nashville and Middle Tennessee, announces a partnership with the newly opened OutCentral cultural center to bring comprehensive event information to the GLBT community and the organizations that support the community.

NowPlayingNashville.com is Middle Tennessee’s comprehensive arts and entertainment calendar, with information about music, theatre, sports, dance, museums, kids and family activities, and more and discount ticket offers. The goal for this strategic partnership is to create a clearing house of event information for leaders of the GLBT community and to provide an events calendar for those who are interested in attending specifically GLBT events.

OutCentral serves to collaborate, educate and empower and is designed to be a cultural center that is a safe, welcoming, friendly space for the GLBTQIF (Gay, Lesbian, Bisexual, Transgender, Queer and Questioning, Intersex, and Friends and Family) community of Middle Tennessee. The new partnership features a GLBT section within the NowPlayingNashville.com community calendar with detailed event listings and information.

Since its launch in 2007, NowPlayingNashville.com has collaborated with hundreds of community partners, providing comprehensive information to support arts and entertainment organizations and enrich the Middle Tennessee community.
