Fourth Annual Golf Tournament Helps The Cheatham County Community Foundation Raise Money to Support Its Nonprofits

Participants Get a Chance to Win $10,000

Nashville, TN– Golfers and sponsors alike are teeing up to raise money for local nonprofits at The Cheatham County Community Foundation’s fourth annual golf tournament at 1:00 p.m. on Friday, May 18. The Cheatham County Community Foundation, an affiliate of The Community Foundation of Middle Tennessee, is a charitable organization that benefits nonprofits serving those in need in its region.

The scramble tournament kicks off with a shotgun start at Through the Green golf course, 1725 New Hope Rd, Joelton, Tenn. Golf registration begins at 11:00 a.m., followed by lunch from 11:30 a.m.–12:30 p.m., provided by Community Bank & Trust Chuck Wagon. Dinner will be provided by Whitts Barbecue of Ashland City immediately following the tournament. An entry fee of $65 per person includes green and cart fees, lunch, dinner, and giveaways. Prepaid registration or hole sponsors are requested by May 14 and should be mailed to CCCF, P.O. Box 816, Ashland City, TN 37015.

Hole-in-one prizes include a $10,000 cash prize, sponsored by The Dixieland Co., and a Hawaiian vacation package, sponsored by Crystal’s Hair Design. Other tournament prizes will be given for two flights with two places in each flight, longest drives, and closest to the pins.

All proceeds will benefit The Cheatham County Community Foundation’s grant making to the nonprofits serving those in need in Cheatham County. The annual golf tournament serves the mission to offer every friend of Cheatham County the opportunity to invest in the community’s future.
