Donor-Advised Funds
Donor-Advised Funds are especially useful for donors who, because of tax or estate planning issues, wish to take a tax deduction one year and spread contributions over future years. It allows donors to make charitable gifts of assets comfortably, conveniently, and cost-effectively. No matter what type gift works best — cash, appreciated public or private securities, real estate, personal property, insurance policies, interests in trusts, etc. — The Community Foundation of Middle Tennessee can help. Many donors find this an ideal way to support their favorite causes.

The Alliance for Climate Protection is led by representatives of the environmental, business, and faith-based community who have joined together to raise public awareness about the growing consequences of global warming and to provide philanthropic support for efforts to reverse its effect on our society and the world.
