Grant application for nonprofits providing flood relief

Nonprofits working to provide aid to those affected by the May 2010 floods are encouraged to apply for disaster grants. Nonprofit organizations, religious institutions and entities of government within the 40-county service area of The Community Foundation of Middle Tennessee are eligible to apply.

Organizations serving Davidson County are eligible to apply through the Metro Nashville Disaster Response Fund. Organizations serving the following counties are eligibile to apply through the Tennessee Emergency Response Fund: Bedford, Cannon, Cheatham, Clay, Coffee, Cumberland, Davidson, DeKalb, Dickson, Fentress, Franklin, Giles, Hickman, Houston, Humphreys, Jackson, Lawrence, Lewis, Lincoln, Macon, Marshall, Maury, Montgomery, Moore, Overton, Pickett, Perry, Putnam, Robertson, Rutherford, Smith, Stewart, Sumner, Trousdale, Van Buren, Warren, Wayne, White, Wilson, and Williamson.

Organizations that accept disaster grants are required to report back to The Community Foundation within 30 days about the use of grant funds.
